This is a virtual role, and duties include • Meeting initially with the cooperating teacher and student to discuss process, deadlines, and responsibilities • Serving as a liaison to the ARC administration to share any concerns discovered before and during the 8-week practicum period • Helping manage submission deadlines for online evaluations and feedback, weekly practicum reflections, comments on evaluations, and lesson plans • Conferring with the cooperating teacher about student progress and reviewing assessment forms before completing the ARC final summative evaluation • Completing three formal observations and a final evaluation Requirements for this position include • Knowledge of online virtual teaching platforms • Daytime availability to perform observations during the school schedule • Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience • Connecticut professional educator

Spring Annual Business Meeting CEA-Retired members are invited to attend the Spring Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, June 3, at 11:30 AM, where the budget will be presented, any proposed changes to the constitution or bylaws will be heard, and officers and committee chairs will give their reports. CEA President Jeff Leake will speak, and Mary Kusler, senior director for NEA’s Center for Advocacy, will deliver the keynote address.
